Our mission includes managing community land, enhancing recreational facilities, supporting urban and rural regeneration, and promoting environmental preservation. Community Orchard & Garden
Learn MoreWe're developing community growing facilities in a former walled garden, once used a s a church orchard. With funding support, we're adding a polytunnel, outdoor classrom, accessible paths, and more.
School Playing field
The Nith Valley Leaf Trust is working to acquire the school playing field in Closeburn to improve its management for community use, including sports, school activities and events. Planned improvements include installing a shelter, enhancing safety at the entrance, and addressing tree, grass, and rabbit damage.
